Our Story

SeferSwap was founded in 2024 with the vision of connecting individuals who value the importance of learning and to ensure we make the most out of every sefer. As active members of the London Jewish community, we frequently see piles of perfectly good seforim having to go to shaimos when they could go to a good home. BH, we live in an age where printing is abundant, and our seforim shelves are full. However, seforim can be pricey, and throughout our lives, we go through cycles of what we learn. Therefore, when you're finished with a specific sefer and need room for more, gift that sefer on. When a new organization, beis chinuch, beis hamedrash, and more are looking for seforim, they can come and get them from SeferSwap.

The point of SeferSwap is to maximize the use of seforim and Jewish books so we can make the most of these precious artifacts of Torah, knowledge, and learning.

Our motto is:

Non-Profit Mission

SeferSwap operates as a non-profit organization. Our goal is not to generate profits, but to create an inclusive, accessible platform for the free exchange of seforim. We rely on the support and goodwill of our community to keep our services running, allowing more people to access these seforim. Examples of the costs we face include web hosting, cloud computing, and developer fees for enhancements and more.
